Introduction

Are you an experienced care professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering high-quality care?

We are looking for a Registered Care Manager to join a care service in Woking, Surrey. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is organised, people-focused and committed to maintaining high standards of care.

You will oversee the day-to-day delivery of services, lead and support the care team, maintain regulatory compliance and work closely with clients, families and healthcare professionals to ensure consistently high-quality care.

Job Specification

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' care and support needs and carry out regular reviews. - Develop, implement and monitor personalised care plans, ensuring they reflect clients' changing needs and preferences. - Oversee the safe and effective delivery of care services in line with individual care plans and company standards. - Ensure compliance with CQC regulations, relevant legislation and company policies and procedures. - Carry out quality assurance visits, service audits and regular checks to monitor the quality and safety of care. - Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records, ensuring appropriate documentation and reporting is completed. - Build positive and professional relationships with clients, families, healthcare professionals and other relevant stakeholders. - Lead, support, supervise and motivate care staff, promoting high standards of practice and professional development. - Respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns, incidents, complaints and changes in clients' needs. Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience in a care management or senior leadership role within health or social care.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of CQC regulations, safeguarding and quality standards.
  • Relevant Level 4/5 qualification in Health & Social Care, Leadership and Management, or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing, supervising and supporting care staff.
  • Experience conducting care assessments, reviews and developing person-centred care plans.
  • Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and remain calm and professional in a hands-on care environment.
